TSI supplies a variety of services to help container shipping companies with their EDI communications such as planning, consultancy, mapping services and development consultancy.
 

TSI uses an EDI tool called TradeXMS which is server based application, that manages and executes business policies, through the exchange of electronic document. It contains Internet communication server component that knows how to recognize and respond to a variety of standard Internet protocols.
 

Trading partners can send data by a variety of methods. File delivery can be manual or automated:

Enter data on web forms, or as an e-mail, e-mail attachment, file transfer protocol (FTP), or via a WAN connection.

Any file formats accepted (i.e. Excel, text, XML, EDI, etc.)

System-generated files, using automated extract and file transfer.

TradeXMS stands ready to receive documents by most standard Internet protocols.

Upon receipt of documents, the server will:

Verify authenticity of sender and retrieves sender's profile.

Identify document type and retrieves translation, processing and routing rules.

Process document per rules, based on trading partner's rules.

Send event notifications to interested parties and prepared documents to recipients.

Open architecture leverages Internet Standards and a variety of existing protocols. Supports industry groups standardizing on the Internet using XML or EDI formats and provides tools to transform almost any document from one format into another.
 

Activity reports such as data files processed, documents processed, errors, EDI messages received and exceptions.
 

ISO-EDI, UN EDI Fact standard templates defined.
 

Standard maps available for most common container shipping messages.
 

Any-to-any mapping available, allowing translation of partners' data into your specifications and vice-versa.
